On February 24, 2022, my family, including my 3-year-old daughter, had to flee Ukraine because of the war.
The (f*ckng) Russians invaded my country and started a real big war, killing tens of thousands of civilians, destroying homes and ruining entire cities.
Now, over 3 years later, we are still refugees and it is unclear when we will be able to return home and what Ukraine will look like when we do. After months of fleeing we did not have enough money left, but, even so, we found ways to help other Ukrainian families with children who find themselves in the same situation. For example 'Ukrainian Peaceful Whales' minting, and volunteering.
We are currently in Albania. My wife and I started a free educational class for Ukrainian children who fled the war and are also staying here in Albania. And there's other ways I'm helping Ukraine hold on and win.
The past three years have changed everything in my life, literally draining me mentally and financially. We have been refugees in four different countries and moved nine times. During this time, I also had to cope with the illness and death of my father in Ukraine, without being able to care for him and even attend his funeral. His treatment depleted all my finances and I even had to borrow money. To top it off, at the end of 2023, on Christmas Eve, the Russians killed my wife's brother.
I have reached my mental, physical, and financial limits and I need help to get back on my feet.
My daughter had just turned three when we fled Ukraine, she is now six. She has grown from a toddler into a bright and beautiful girl, a real person. It's unfortunate that her important discovery time with its endless "why, what, and how" has found us in such a difficult situation.
I have now accepted the fact that there is no going back to my previous life. I have to start again from where I am now. To get a financial boost, I'm selling my collection of adahandles for 150k ADA (or best offer). This money will allow me to pay off the loans I took out last year and give us a few months of financial security. This will allow me to recover from the enormous stress of the war and the depression it caused, from which I have already begun to recover.
I'm planning to resume my work and possibly find yet another field of activity to restore a good life for my family.
This collection could make someone rich in a few years, but I don't have the resources to wait that long.
